• Eligibility: The Flag Day – Flag Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to members of the general public who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. This promotion is not open to New York or Rhode Island residents.

• Sponsor: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society (“WoodmenLife”), located at 1700 Farnam St., Omaha, NE 68102.

• Agreement to Official Rules: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of WoodmenLife, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with this Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.

• Giveaway Period: The Sweepstakes begins on June 14th at 9:00AM Central Standard Time and ends on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries that are submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Sweepstakes using any of the following methods: Mail-In and Online.

• How to Enter: There are two (2) ways to enter.

  1. Online – This method of entry will be available by visiting either the WoodmenLife’s corporate Instagram or Facebook page at https://www.instagram.com/woodmenlife/ or https://www.facebook.com/WoodmenLife/ and following the directions provided to fill out the entry information and submit.

     • To enter the Sweepstakes, Entrant’s need to

       1. like the Sweepstakes Facebook or Instagram post on WoodmenLife’s corporate Facebook or Instagram page,

       2. follow &/or like WoodmenLife on Facebook or Instagram,

       3. and tag a friend in the comments section of the Sweepstakes Facebook or Instagram post.

     • For each entrant who follows these steps, entrants receive one (1) entry into the drawing. For additional entries, entrants can tag additional friends in the comments section of the Sweepstakes Instagram and or Facebook post up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) entries. Entries received from any Entrant in excess of the stated limitations will be void.

  2. Entry by Mail – This method of entry will be available for the entire Contest Period. On a 3x5 card, handprint your full name, complete address, phone number (including area code), date of birth and email address (optional) and mail in an envelope with proper postage affixed to:

     All mail-in entries must be postmarked by Friday, June 28, 2024 and received by Friday, July 8, 2024. Limit twenty-five (25) mail-in entries per entrant for the duration of the Sweepstakes Period. Entries received from any person, email address or household in excess of the stated limitations will be void. All entries become the property of WoodmenLife and will not be acknowledged or returned.
     

• Valid Entry:

  An entrant must complete all online instructions to the satisfaction of WoodmenLife. For mail-in entries, information must be completed in good order.

• Prize Drawing:

  On or about July 12th, WoodmenLife will select the winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. WoodmenLife will attempt to notify the winner via Direct Message on or about July 15th.

• Winner Notification:

  The winners will be notified by Direct Message from the Official WoodmenLife Accounts listed above. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond to notification request or if the contact is returned as undeliverable, the winner forfeits the prize. In the event that a winner is disqualified for any reason, or the prize is forfeited, WoodmenLife will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Alternate drawing will be held until the prize is awarded. All taxes and expenses, if any, relating to the prizes are the winner’s sole responsibility.

• Prizes/Odds:

  Fifty (50) American flags (3 foot by 5 foot or 2 foot by 3 foot). The odds of willing will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.

• General Conditions:

  In the event that the operation, security or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Sweepstakes is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by WoodmenLife, WoodmenLife may either (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of the Official Rules (b) terminate the Sweepstakes and award the prize at random from among the eligible entries up to the time of impairment. WoodmenLife reserves the right to disqualify an individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules.
