Opportunities for Volunteering and WoodmenLife Awards

In towns where WoodmenLife members live and work, we partner with the community to offer opportunities for volunteering. WoodmenLife members plan and carry out thousands of service projects each year. We also honor those who make a difference in their communities through volunteer efforts. You can join these efforts by connecting with other WoodmenLife members through your local WoodmenLife chapter.

WoodmenLife Volunteer Opportunities

As a member¹ of the WoodmenLife family, you’re joining others who share your commitment to family, community, and country. You have opportunities to connect with others, give back locally and honor those who make an impact.

• Helping families and communities recover from natural disasters

• Holding food drives and stuffing backpacks to fight hunger

• Participating in national community service events

• Presenting flags to schools, nonprofit organizations and fire and police stations

• Partnering with organizations like Gary Sinise Foundation, Toys for Tots®, Feeding America®, and Shop with a Cop to help families in need

• Holding appreciation events for teachers, First Responders, Veterans, and service members

WoodmenLife honors those who do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. WoodmenLife members recognize and honor individuals in their communities who have made a difference.
