Robert T. Maher served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for WoodmenLife from 2013 until 2020. He has served on the National Board of Directors of WoodmenLife since July 2013. Maher currently serves on the Audit and Fraternal Committees and is a member of Chapter 860 in Naples, FL.

Throughout his career with WoodmenLife, he served in the Systems and Planning and Investment departments, and in 2002, was appointed Vice President, Investment Division Manager. Maher also served as Chairman of the Board of WFS Holdings, Inc. and Woodmen Financial Services Inc.

He became a WoodmenLife member in 1981, when he joined Alpha Chapter 16 in Omaha, NE. Maher has held most chapter offices, including President. He is a past President of the Nebraska Jurisdiction and a past President of the American Fraternal Alliance (AFA) Investment Section.

Maher received a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1981 and added a second degree in Real Estate in 1989.

He is a past Board Chairman of Junior Achievement of the Midlands and remains active in community service through his local WoodmenLife chapter in Naples.

In his free time, Maher enjoys golf, beaches and travel. He and his wife, Christina, have two children.
