Wilbur Jenkins serves WoodmenLife as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. As an Executive Officer, he leads Core Operations, Human Resources and Strategic Initiatives. Jenkins also oversees strategic planning, including a focus on WoodmenLife’s Human Capital and Diversity & Inclusion strategies.

Jenkins previously served as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for WoodmenLife.

Before joining WoodmenLife, he had been Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Transformation with Argo Group and Vice President of Countrywide Operations for Hartford Financial Services Group.

Jenkins graduated from South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science and from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Business Administration. He also holds an Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard Business School and a Business Management Certificate from Babson College.

Jenkins’ volunteer activities include work with Assault on Illiteracy, Junior Achievement, Meals on Wheels, Rescue Mission Homeless Shelter, and Food Bank for the Heartland.

In his spare time, he enjoys reading, running and walking. Jenkins has two children and three grandchildren.
