Dr. James W. Bosler III of Louisville, KY, was elected to the National Board of Directors of WoodmenLife in 2005. He currently serves on the Audit and Fraternal Committees and is presently the Lead Independent Director. Dr. Bosler has been a WoodmenLife member since birth and is a member of Chapter 14 in Louisville, KY. He has served as President of Chapter 14 in Louisville and is a past President of the Kentucky Jurisdiction. Over the years, Dr. Bosler has served in many WoodmenLife local, state and national positions, as well as with the former Kentucky Fraternal Congress.
He has been practicing internal medicine since 1992 and is a senior partner within the private practice of Greater Louisville Internal Medicine, P.S.C. Dr. Bosler has been named to the list of “America’s Top Physicians” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America every year since 2007.
Among his many honors was earning WoodmenLife’s Top 10 National Youth Leadership Award in 1979, being appointed to the National Fraternal Committee in 2003 and being named National Fraternalist of the Year in 2004.
Dr. Bosler is an Eagle Scout and a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scout Association. He enjoys photography, snow skiing, piloting, computer technology, genealogy, sports, and fitness activities. His father, the late James Bosler II, was a retired National Director, and his mother, the late Mary Etta Bosler, was elected WoodmenLife’s first female Jurisdictional President in 1965. Dr. Bosler has two daughters.
